GRILLO is known for growing on flat, warm and placid lands around Trapani, where these grapes gave birth to the famous Marsala. Our organic Grillo has been growing on a 600-700m elevation, facing north in Alcamo, around 50km west of Palermo. This brings a pleasing evolution to Late Freckles, with a more citrusy and fresh fragrance. Landscape Import’s Grillo expresses the new lands of Sicily with tropical aromas of pineapple, slightly sour grapefruit, sage and mint.
